Anderson Log Entry Gate
This is our latest log entry. The top log is a 40" average fir and the posts are a thirty inch average. This entry sits on two concrete footers and is fastened down with 1/2 inch steel knife plates and 1" through bolts. There is 4 1/2 yards of concrete in each footer and there is a vapor barrier between the log posts and the concrete. This entry should last a life time without fear of the posts rotting.
